MDA J&A to Increase UARC IDIQ Value

The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) has issued a Justification and Approval to increase the value of its sole-source University Affiliated Research Center (UARC) contract with Utah State University Space Dynamics Laboratory (USU/SDL). This cost-plus-fixed-fee modification provides the MDA with continued technical and analytical support for the development of complex systems engineering and integration products. The effort utilizes the specialized knowledge and proprietary data held by USU/SDL to support the Missile Defense System in its mission to defend the homeland and regional interests against ballistic missile threats in all phases of flight.

Performance takes place in Logan, Utah, and is managed by the MDA contracting activity located in Huntsville, Alabama, under contract HQ0854-22-D-0001. The requirement is classified under NAICS 541715 for Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology) and PSC AC13 for National Defense R&D Services; Department of Defense - Military; Experimental Development.
