NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE This Notice of Intent to Sole Source is issued for the purpose of notifying industry of the Department of Homeland Securitys (DHS) intent to solicit and award an interim sole source Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to WidePoint Integrated Solutions Corp (WidePoint), 11250 Waples Mill Road Suite 200, Fairfax, VA 22030 for the procurement of Cellular Wireless Managed Services (CWMS). This action is conducted under the statutory authority 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The acquisition procedure will be in accordance with FAR part 12 and will include the following services: managed services; a web portal for device ordering and management; cellular wireless equipment and devices to include multiple mobile solutions and associated licenses; cellular, satellite and data service; Mobile Device Management (MDM); project management; services to enhance in-building cellular coverage; service desk services and other optional services. The services shall include contractor initiated and DHS authorized access to multiple carriers. The anticipated period of performance for this effort will be 12 months from the award date with no option periods. This IDIQ will serve as an interim contract to provide uninterrupted CWMS support for DHS while the Department plans for a competitive acquisition for the new Cellular Wireless Managed Services (CWMS) IDIQ, which will contain a base period and four (4) option periods. This competitive acquisition is anticipated to be awarded in October 2020. DHS intends to issue a separate notice regarding this competitive acquisition on beta.sam.gov. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation document will be posted for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice may submit comments to [email protected] no later than 5pm Eastern Time on March 20, 2020. No questions or inquiries will be accepted by telephone.
