This is a sources sought notice to determine if there is an 8(a) small business with experience in emergency preparedness. The DHS Office of Procurement Operations is seeking information on behalf of the Office of Health Affairs to verify that there are qualified and capable 8(a) sources available to develop emergency preparedness standards and tools for supporting state and local community planning for children and their families to include the following: Community planning templates/guidance documents/tools focusing on children and families for emergency managers Community exercise toolkits with specific focus on children's needs during disasters Preparedness assessment tools of plans and exercises specifically focusing on children Sheltering standards for children and families, both children with and without special health care needs Training materials/toolkits for first responders and non-pediatric medical personnel in the care of children during disasters The Government is looking for those firms with experience in child preparedness issues. The primary applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code that this work falls under is 541611 - Administrative management and general management consulting service.
