This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry
Classification Standard Code is 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. The
small business size standard is $45M. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible
sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
SCOPE OF CONTRACT
A. Base Items:
a. This project is for the development of well and hand pump to serve the Kading Campground in the Helena Ranger District of the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest.
b. Work includes drilling a well and installing a complete hand pump assembly on new well casing, concrete pad, drain, and all pump components necessary for a typical campground water supply.
c. Contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, tools, etc. necessary to complete the work. All waste and excess materials generated from construction shall be disposed of off Forest Service lands and in compliance with governing federal, state, and local laws.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:
A. June 22, 2026 - September 30, 2026.
B. All work shall be completed by September 30, 2026.
SITE VISIT:
A. No official Site Visit shall be performed. Per FAR Part 52.236-3 “Site Investigation and Conditions Affecting the Work”, contractor is encouraged and expected to visit the site. Ensure you are familiar with inclement weather as this may hinder access to certain roads.
PRICE RANGE:
A. Between $25,000 and $100,000.
Performance & Payment Bonds (FAR 52.228-15):
Both required at 100% of original contract
price if value in excess of $150,000, due 10 days after award. Only payment protections are required
for contracts exceeding $35,000 but not exceeding $150,000, irrevocable letter of credit or payment
bond allowed per FAR 52.228-13, due within 10 days of contract award.
