GAOA Grand Isle NRA Water System Improvement

The United States Forest Service has issued solicitation 12445526Q0044 as a Request for Quotation for the Grand Isle National Recreation Area Water System Improvement project in Munising, Michigan. This project involves the construction of two new board and batten well houses at Juniper Flats and Murray Bay, which includes installing all necessary piping and electrical systems and demolishing the existing well enclosures. Work also extends to the Farrell Cabin site for raising the existing well casing, installing a new waterline and water spigot pedestal, and demolishing the previous pedestal. Additionally, the contractor will perform work at Mather Lodge, including the demolition and replacement of a concrete pad, installation of piping and electrical systems into an existing structure, and various building repairs.
