Johnson Control HVAC Service Agreement

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6. The solicitation number is AG-82FT-S-12-0029. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561210, size standard is $35.5 million. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract to support the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system associated with the Missoula Fire Sciences Laboratory (Fire Lab). The Missoula Fire Lab is located at 5775 US Highway 10 West, Missoula, MT 59808. In addition, the Forestry Sciences Laboratory will be an option item on the solicitation. The Forestry Sciences Laboratory is located at 800 East Beckwith Avenue, Missoula, MT 59801. Services shall include the maintenance, repair and support of the control systems, the HVAC systems (including the boilers, the environmental HVAC systems for combustion research apparatus and an annual facility inspection. Please see the attachment AG-82FT-S-12-0029 for full solicitation details. This contract will include a base year and four one-year options. There will be no future synopsis in the event the options included in the contract are exercised. No new work can be issued after one year following award of initial contract unless an option year is exercised.
