VA awards $45M Veterans Experience Office Support BPA

G2X TAKE: Easily having one of the best runs of any consulting firm supporting VA, Booz Allen Hamilton , who was recently identified near the top of the list of the Federal Health Consulting Firms Creating a Buzz in the 1st Half of 2018, just beat out three other bidders to pick up this 5-year single-award BPA to provide Enterprise Measurement and Performance Improvement Support to the VA VEO.  

A focus for this BPA will be to provide support to the VA as EM&PI deploys a customer experience capability for leadership and employees to see trending concerns and predictions on emerging topics in specific VA lines of business before they become problematic. Additionally, support from Booz Allen Hamilton is needed to conduct and continually expand performance improvement training, using customer experience data to enhance service delivery across VA lines of business. This BPA was competed and awarded using the GSA Consolidated Federal Supply Schedule.  

While VA has been heavily investing in their SDVOSB partners over the last couple of years, Booz Allen continues to have much success at VA with this recent action just the latest in a series of notable wins that include a $45M VA Financial Services Center Data Analysis and BI task awarded this summer, a $32.5M VA OI&T Support Services task award; a $410M VA Benefits Integration Platform (BIP) Support task; and a $750M Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) PMO Support Task. We should note that Booz Allen also added a key executive this past Spring, recruiting former VA IT Executive Lorraine Landfried as Vice President, which should only increase their prospects moving forward.
