VA awards Clinical Ancillary Services (CAS) Development task

G2X TAKE: Beating out 2 other bidders, this SDVOSB just picked up a $5.3M task to deliver clinical, technical and requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, cybersecurity, and documentation for the CAS projects.

For this task, awardee AbleVets is expected to support the CAS NextGen efforts to enhance the current state of the applicable VistA applications.

AbleVets has had their fair share of success to date, picking up several contracts at VA and on T4NG, to include an $8.8M Mobile Scheduling web application enhancements task; a 3 year $13M task for Contact Center Operational Hub Implementation and Support; a $3.3M Security Engineering Support task for the VA OI&T Office of Information Security. and, most notably a 4 year $30.8M contract for Agile Development and Sustainment Support for the Joint Legacy Viewer.

AbleVets was also noted early this year as they added David Waltman, former VA EHR modernization leader, as their Chief Strategy Officer.
