G2X TAKE: Ipsos, a longtime partner to the Department of Veterans Affairs and the world’s third largest market research company, present in 90 markets and employing more than 18,000 people, has been awarded a 5-year contract to facilitate data and continue to provide develop, print, mail and scan services to support the Million Veteran Program.
- In late 2019, the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Boston Healthcare System announced on FBO their intention to negotiate on a sole source basis with Ipsos Public Affairs for the purchase of continued support and resources to design and develop and mail printed materials, track responses, and facilitate primary data collection for the Million Veteran Program, building on the VA contract with Ipsos to continue these services in support of the Million Veteran Program.
- The Million Veteran Program (MVP) is a national research program to learn how genes, lifestyle, and military exposures affect health and illness. Since launching in 2011, over 825,000 Veteran partners have joined one of the world’s largest programs on genetics and health. More here.
- Ipsos is a longtime major partner to the VA. “Ipsos Public Affairs has administered the VHA’s Survey of Healthcare Experiences Survey (SHEP) since 2008, evaluating the experiences of Veteran inpatients and outpatients including those receiving specialty care and care in the community. We have provided support in administering the Dental CAHPS survey providing Veteran assessments of their dental care. Ipsos manages a Veterans Insight Panel providing quick turnaround and innovative approaches for the VHA to obtain Veteran feedback on prospective concepts and communications in advance of mainstreaming them as well as providing an online platform for testing future survey instruments. Ipsos’ Public Affairs team also supports the VHA in its mission to recruit 1 Million Veterans to sign up for a national genomic registry in support of the precision medicine initiative.” More here.
