VA awards $239M Enterprise Service Desk Task

G2X TAKE: Building on several large wins this T4NG prime has added at VA in the last 14 months, to include a $135M VA Records Management Center (RMC) and a $74M Enterprise Cloud Support Contract, this very fast rising Federal Health player just beat out three bidders to secure a 5 year contract to serve as the Managed Service Provider (MSP) for Tier-0 and Tier-1 Services.

Formed as a result of a merger between SRA International and a CSC government services unit in 2015, the team at CSRA continues to be a very aggressive competitor for any large and unrestricted competition coming out of VA, and really everywhere across the Federal Health sector.

As part of this task, CSRA will be expected to create and maintain an “effective IT Service delivery environment where all Incidents, Problems, Service Requests, and access to VA applications and related infrastructure services by End Users are received, monitored, tracked, and dealt with”, to include a range of “technical, logistical, and programmatic support activities”, “end-to-end Incident Lifecycle management and ownership, introduction of increased workflow of self-service capabilities, and providing automated service Request Fulfillment Services.”
