G2X TAKE: Salient CRGT, a leading provider of health, data analytics, cloud, agile software development, cyber security, and infrastructure solutions, recently beat out three other bidders to be awarded a 5-year task to provide Network Engineering, Design, Implementation and Infrastructure Support to the Department of Veterans Affairs. The task, valued at $207M, was awarded using T4NG.
- This award comes on the heels of a recently awarded three-month NEDIIS bridge task to Salient, who acquired T4NG Prime Information Innovators, Inc. (“Triple-i”) in 2017, and was a known incumbent on this effort, having been awarded a 5-year $130M task in 2016. More on the bridge task and related J&A is available here.
- Documents posted in early 2021 related to the re-compete for this contract, which seeks technical support services for VA Corporate Data Centers, VA NOC, TIC Gateways, and BPE, consisting of all technical activities necessary to design, implement, maintain, operate and improve the VA enterprise network security and network transportation services, including core, distribution and access layers, can be found here.
- Earlier this month it was announced that GovernmentCIO intended to acquire Salient CRGT in a move that would bring together two premier, complementary providers of Government IT solutions to form a diversified, best-in-class platform well-positioned to meet the evolving needs and priorities of Government customers. More on that here.
- Led by CEO Tom Ferrando and Health and Civilian Sector President Rebecca Miller, Salient CRGT was named to the list of NXT UP firms poised to make big waves in the Federal sector in 2020 and for years to come.
