G2X TAKE: Sometimes big hires pay off and sometimes they don’t, but after TISTA added several key executives over the past year to bolster their VA Capture and Delivery capabilities, this recent and significant 3-year task order win will have this very fast growing T4NG, VETS and CIO-SP3 SB Prime feeling pretty good about the investments they made.
Awarded as an SDVOSB set-aside on T4NG, the TISTA led team will provide a range of Program Management Support Services as part of this 3-year effort, to include portfolio management, administrative, fiscal management, schedule management, risk management, and applicable policies and regulations to include VIP support for the FSC Program Management Office (PMO). The Austin-based FSC is a fee-for-service center responsible for financial operations, such as nationwide payment processing, electronic commerce/EDI capabilities, financial support activities, and the maintenance of VA’s financial management system. There were 5 bidders for this effort competed on T4NG.
TISTA has been one of the more aggressive in terms of adding senior talent, making several significant hires over the past year, to include recruiting Joe Rhodes as an Executive Vice President this past Spring, and a series of additions to kick start FY18 including new Chief Technology Officer Nathan Seth; former Veteran’s Affairs ADCIO for Project Management, Keith Seaman, as their new Executive Vice President for Federal Strategic Engagement; and Jill Jakober Carney as their new Executive Vice President of Operations.
It looks as if TISTA may be following a similar formula to position for FY19, as they also recently bolstered their VA/Health capture team, adding veteran growth leader, Michael Schaefer and experienced VA T4 leader Laurence Chashin as Corporate Counsel.
