SOURCES SOUGHT: Military Health System seeks firm to develop new clinical and functional tools and workflow

Military Health Systems seeks firm to develop new clinical and functional tools and workflow -– February 4, 2015, FBO.gov

There are key functional areas and shortcomings that require implementing standardized solutions to address deficiencies in interfaces, clinical tools, documentation and care workflows, reporting processes and the user experience. It has also been identified that there is no automated process established to distribute accepted enhancements throughout the enterprise. Additionally, an automated report examining the functioning system currently does not exist, i.e. reporting when an interface is not sending data. These reporting capabilities are critical to addressing deficiencies which arise due to the dependencies upon unreliable legacy architecture in the Military Health System (MHS)… Responses due February 18, 2015.

G2X TAKE: “The purpose of this requirement is to develop new clinical and functional tools and workflows, develop new reporting processes, develop enhanced status boards and deliver new ongoing capabilities designed to optimize and manage the standardized clinical content and configuration.” A number of firms have these capabilities, but a few small businesses you might start with are Ellumen, Synergy BIS, KSJ and MicroHealth.
