TRICARE Quality Monitoring Contract (TQMC) – May 19, 2015, FBO

The TQMC acquisition is for a new indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with fixed unit prices. The TQMC will assist the Clinical Support Division (CSD) in assessing and improving the quality of care delivered under the TRICARE benefit across the direct and purchased care systems and support DHA with the management of clinical quality performance measurements to validate the quality of care. DHA will host a pre-proposal conference at 16401 E. Centretech Parkway, Aurora CO 80011, on June 5, 2015, at 9:00 AM (MT). The conference will include teleconferencing capabilities.

G2X TAKE: While not IT related, expect to see a larger contingent at the scheduled pre-proposal conference as there will be great interest in this IDIQ to support quality improvement for direct and purchase care across TRICARE. steeped with quality measurement, management, and reporting experience in Federal Health are good potential partners for this opportunity. The incumbent on this appears to be Kepro, as they were awarded a 5 year contract in 2011 where they added 20 people to their staff. Their website provides a lot of valuable data about the program and their involvement.
