The HHS Enterprise Architecture (EA) is a Department-wide initiative that involves the active participation of all Operating Divisions (OPDIVs) and Staff Divisions (STAFFDIVs). It takes a federated approach to the development and implementation of EA throughout the Department, engaging all OPDIVs and Departmental organizations in fulfillment of Departmental objectives, while enabling them to meet their mission and objectives. The staff and contractors of the Office of Enterprise Architecture (OEA) provide coordination, technical tools and operational guidance and oversight for the EA activities of the Department. The EA program also provides direct consulting services and support for STAFFDIVs and some OPDIVs of the Department where EA technical skills or resources are unavailable
The contractor shall provide necessary staff and assistance to support HHS in its goal of advancing a comprehensive, results-oriented HHS-wide architecture that is aligned with the Federal Enterprise Architecture. The following sections provide details of the work to be provided by the contractor.

This effort to provide necessary staff and assistance to support HHS OCIO in its goal of advancing a comprehensive, results-oriented HHS-wide architecture that is aligned with the Federal Enterprise Architecture will receive a fair share of attention.
