G2X TAKE: LCG, a small business provider of technology-based consulting services, biomedical research support, grants management, decision analytics, software engineering and IT operations, recently scored multiple awards with the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute of General Medical Sciences.
For the first, LCG beat out 9 other bidders to be awarded a 5-year NIGMS $3.4M internet website design support task. This task was competed and awarded as a small business set-aside action on CIO-SP3 SB. For this effort, “LCG joins the NIGMS team to provide innovative ways for improve and manage the Institute’s Website and other web-based applications.” Source LCG. Read more here.
For the second award LCG beat out 7 other bidders to be awarded a $9.3M task to provide NIGMS with IT operations and service desk support. This task was also competed and awarded as a small business set-aside action on CIO-SP3 SB. For this award: “LCG leads the management of all NIGMS servers, personal computers, and mobile devices to secure the highest level of efficiency and security to NIGMS staff. Additionally, LCG will develop, implement, and manage a Service Desk to provide a superior and personalized level of support for all NIGMS staff.” Source LCG. Read more here.
Finally, LCG beat out 7 other bidders to win a 3-year task from the National Institutes of Health to provide National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) Chief Information Office (CIO) professional support services. This task, valued at $5M, was competed as a small business set-aside action using the CIO-SP3 SB contract vehicle. For this award: “LCG joins the CIO’s Office of the Information Resources Management Branch (IRMB) to provide CIO Support and PMO services. Additionally, LCG will provide general IT architecture services support to modernize and improve efficacity within the Institute.” Source LCG. More here.
