G2X TAKE: One of the smallest prime awardees on T4NG when the $22.3B IDIQ was awarded, this fast rising firm continues to pick up tasks at a steady pace this Spring, including two recent wins, one for eCPIC support and the other for support of the Austin Financial Services Center.
Listed as one of the firms G2X is keeping an eye on in a recent report of the top Federal Health IT firms who came to play in 2017, B3 Group recently added a two-year task at VA to support VA Information Technology Planning and Budget Formulation (ITPBF) office activities associated with its instance of the Electronic Capital Planning and Investment Control (eCPIC) tool. In addition, B3 beat out one other bidder to pick up a 2-year $4M award to support the VA Austin Financial Services Center Replacement VS Project.
Led by Dwight Hunt and Brad Palmer, B3 Group continues to develop strategic relationships with many established players. One such arrangement with CDS Expert, Cognitive Medical paid off early this Spring as the duo teamed up to help B3 secure a $22M Clinical Decision Support (CDS) Program Office Support prime task award. B3 also recently announced that they have entered into a formal Mentor-Protégé relationship with LongView International Technology Solutions, Inc, a highly successful graduated SDVOSB who served as a prime under the previous iteration of the VAs T4 contract vehicle.
