G2X TAKE: Continuing what has been an impressive month, this SDVOSB just picked up two more tasks, one a 2-year contract to provide comprehensive information security support and to assist the VA-Network Security Operations Center in developing and providing enterprise-wide information security and network defense services. The second, a 3-year task to support Light Electronic Action Framework Enhancements (LEAF).
For the CSOC task award, AbleVets beat out 5 other bidders and will support NSOC and their efforts to provide continuous security monitoring of the VAs networks, applications, and systems, and for coordinating all enterprise network defense activities associated with security incident management, prevention, detection, remediation, and forensics & analysis.
While smaller in nature, a second recent strategic award that this group picked up is a $4.7M task to support development, enhancement, database refactoring, and deployment support services for the Office of Connected Innovations LEAF Platform. OCC is a relatively new office that was formed by combining the independent virtual care technology offices; Telehealth Services; and the Connected Health group, which includes Mobile Solutions, MyHealtheVet, and Innovations.
These two awards come on the heels of another recent and high profile win for this firm, a $48M Community Care Program Development Support Task they were awarded just a few weeks ago. Whatever tweaks AbleVets made to their bid process in late 2016/early 2017, it seems to be paying off in a big way thus far.Tags: VA
