This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued by the Defense Health Agency (DHA), Directorate of Procurement (DOP) Activity, Acquisition Management and Support (AM&S), Contract Operations Division Falls Church (COD-FC). The Tri?Service Workflow contract supplies non?personal Advisory and Assistance Services Support providing Subject Matter Experts (consisting of Senior Physicians, Junior Physicians, Physician Assistants and/or Nurse Practitioners), Training Managers, Engineers, Programmers, and Program Management support as needed to development and disseminate individual Tri?Service Workflows to support the Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs). Responses are due by 8am on February 25th.
G2X TAKE: This is an extremely quick turn for responses and the fine print says the contractor shall start work NLT March 12, 2015. This work uses subject matter experts to qualitatively and quantitatively identify the baseline series and network value-added workflow processes in the JTF CapMed and the San Antonio, TX area military medical treatment facilities (MTFs). As these are the largest mid-markets that provide a substantial portion of military medical care, this is an excellent place to start to analyze the current workflow and develop more efficient workflows to accommodate third party care provision. Deloitte, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Noblis have these capabilities, but the small company that appears to be doing a lot of this work today is EHR Total Solutions.
