PSI recruits CMS Industry Growth Leader as new VP

G2X TAKE: Looking to build on the momentum gained as a recently announced Prime awardee on the $50B GSA Alliant 2 Unrestricted GWAC and leveraging their access to key contract vehicles across the broader Federal Health sector, this Federal Health mainstay with more than 30 years of experience delivering enterprise Health IT services and solutions has recruited a new VP.

Marty Nelson has joined Planned Systems International (PSI) as a new Vice President where he will bring a track record of success and set of experiences gained having worked with CMS, either directly or indirectly, for nearly 30 years, while “developing a keen understanding of the organization’s operations, goals and challenges”.

This hire is just the latest in a string of strategic investments made by PSI to include the recent addition of senior business development executive, and former Navy Medical Service Corps Officer, Russ Sanford as Vice President of Business Development, and of former VA OIT Health Care Product Development Director, Keith Tietmeyer as a Director of Business Development.

As we have stated before, big hires do not guarantee big results, but they do signify intent and it is clear that PSI is positioning for growth across the broader Federal Health market.
