G2X TAKE: This T4NG prime recently rated as one of the top 10 fastest growing small businesses in the government market for the second year in a row appears to be picking up steam at VA, as they have added a string of task awards in the last week or two. Some of the known and very recent awards to ProSphere include:
- beating out two bidders to secure a 3 year $9.6M task for Health Portfolio Electronic Health Record PMO Support;
- a 5-year Construction and Facilities Management (CFM) Database and Web Services task;
- a 1-year task to support Data extraction from the VA proprietary Zovy Secure Archive application and Data Migration efforts to Microsoft Office 365;
- and a 4.5-year task to support development of the Chemotherapy Ordering Management System (COMS)
This all comes on the heels of an award we noted a few short weeks ago for a $53M VA Office of Technology Strategies (TS) Support Services Task.
ProSphere was one of the more aggressive on the hiring front towards the end of 2016 / beginning of 2017 as they recruited and managed to secure several senior growth minded executives to support business development efforts and their investment seems to be paying off. With a couple weeks left before the end of the fiscal year, we will not be surprised to hear ProSphere’s name called a few more times.
