G2X TAKE: Leveraging invaluable perspective GRSi President and CEO David Affeldt gained as an NIH programmer and eventual CIO at NIH more than two decades ago, it shouldn’t be a surprise that this WOSB picked up the first task on the recently awarded multiple-award BPA out of NHLBI
Beating out 5 other bidders, Grove Resource Solutions (GRSi) scored the first win on the new $214M NIH NHLBI IT Support Services BPA, a 3-year $30M task award to provide Service Desk Support, Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance to the NIH’s National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.
This woman-owned small business, CIO-SP3 SB prime and recent CMS SPARC prime awardee is quietly building out a set of contract vehicles and past performance across NIH, CMS, and MHS that should keep them on the radar as both a potential partner and competitor, as they are clearly proving they know how to win.
This task was one of two sample tasks that were included as part of the solicitation. A second smaller task is also expected to be awarded in the near future.
