G2X TAKE: GDIT, less than two years removed from their acquisition of CSRA, a longtime partner to NIH, continues to pick up big wins in support of the National Institutes of Health, this time adding a 3-year task to provide a range of professional support services related to ServiceNow requirements. Competed using the CIO-SP3 GWAC, the competition for this task, funded out of the NIH National Library of Medicine, drew two bids.
- This award builds on a string of recent wins across NIH, to include a $159M Cyber Tech Infrastructure Support task at NIAID; a $28M Monitoring, Program Management and O&M Support task for NIH; adding a 5-year $33M task to provide a range of technical support services to the Office of Computer and Communications Systems (OCCS); and a $38M NHGRI IT Support Services task win.
- GDIT added former FDA and NIH IT Exec and FedHealthIT100 honoree Milad Bahrami in 2018 to serve as VP providing senior leadership to over 600 health IT professionals providing IT services across HHS, with responsibility for overall delivery and growth of all accounts, and they recruited industry growth leader JW Funkhouser this time last year to be responsible for new business growth across the HHS account.
- GDIT was recently named one of the NXT UP firms poised to make big waves in the Federal sector in 2020 and for years to come.
