G2X TAKE: That didn’t take long! A few short months after acquiring the Health IT Division of a VA T4NG Prime, SDVOSB Healthcare services and IT consultancy Sierra7 adds their first T4NG task win, beating out three others to be awarded a 3-year task to provide Department of Veterans Affairs with Veterans Benefits Management System SQA support services. The task, valued at $9M, was competed and awarded as an SDVOSB set-aside action using T4NG.
- Sierra7 recently acquired the Health IT Division of VA T4NG Prime HMS Technologies. More here. HMS was a known incumbent on this effort, having been awarded a 3-year VBMS SQA task in 2017.
- If that wasn’t enough, this group was one of the small businesses recently awarded a Prime spot on the $1B VHA Integrated Healthcare Transformation (IHT) IDIQ which is intended to provide a vehicle for a wide range of general management and business services and solutions in the broad health care environment. They also serve as a Prime contractor for the $25B VA Veteran Enterprise Contracting for Transformation and Operations Readiness (VECTOR) contract, and are one of only 3 awardees who initially received 4 Service Group areas.
- Led by CEO, Rafael Fagundo, Sierra7 has made several executive level hires this year to bolster their position, to include recruiting former VA Enterprise and Systems Security lead Steve Gosewehr as a new VP and recently adding well-known industry leaders John Peterson and Frank Rendon to serve as COO and CFO respectively.
