G2X TAKE: It has been a good few months for this 8(a) as they picked up a couple key Federal Health IT wins, to include a 4-year $13.7M task at DHA to provide IT support at MAMC.
This appears to be the first prime award to support Military Health efforts for TUVA, LLC, an Alaskan Native Corporation (ANC) that claims nearly one-half of their entire workforce and 90% of their leadership team is comprised of military veterans.
This award comes on the heels of a recent 5-year task award at FDA for TUVA to support the CFSAN Adverse Event Reporting System (CAERS). While still relatively small, these are the types of qualifications that stand to make TUVA an interesting partner, especially for those looking to circumvent some of the procurement challenges.
