DLH Holdings Corp. (DLHC) and Danya International ("Danya") today announced that DLH has acquired privately held Danya, a leading provider of technology-enabled program management, consulting, and digital communications solutions, in a $38.75 million transaction, subject to customary adjustments, consisting of $36.25 million of cash and $2.5 million of restricted common stock. Danya will operate as a second wholly owned subsidiary of DLH Holdings Corp. Danya`s founder Jeff Hoffman will be retained as a Strategic Market Advisor to DLH for a period of up to two years.

G2X TAKE: The news of the recent acquisition by this fast rising Atlanta based Federal healthcare services provider and partner to VA broadens both capabilities, expertise and contract vehicles across HHS for DLH. With the acquisition of Danya International, DLH Holdings Corp. (DLHC) can now lay claim to being “a pure-play, technology-enabled government healthcare and human services company with a customer base including four of the largest government health agencies.”
Danya carries a strong reputation for their Health, technology, communications, and outreach expertise with notable past performance including the CDC’s National Prevention Information Network, the Office of Head Start National Monitoring Systems Expansion Support contract, and a number of digital media and mobile tasks across HHS.
Starting as early as 2014, DLH has continued to make key investments that position them for growth in the Federal Health sector, including the addition of Industry Veteran, Denise Ciotti, to lead Business Development activities and another Industry Veteran, Paul Nice last year to support growth activities. It will be interesting to watch how DLH and this team are able to leverage this new acquisition.
