G2X TAKE: Liberty IT, a very fast-growing mission-centric SDVO consultancy that supports multiple Government agencies across a diverse portfolio of Health IT projects, and who serves as a major partner to Veterans Affairs, just kicked off 2021 in a big way by beating out 8 other bidders to secure this 5-year task that includes Product Delivery and Lifecycle Management to transform VA by tapping into emerging technologies, connecting developers with VA data, and delivering Human Centered Design (HCD). This task was competed and awarded using T4NG.
- This award comes a year after this group was awarded a huge $380M VA API Development and Operations Support task to kick off 2020; and it builds on a number of recent wins, to include an $18M Debt Management Center support task and a VA Standards and Terminology Sustainment task win. This was after a series of wins this group added late in 2019 totaling $700M. These include a 5-year $64M Advanced Medical Cost Management Solution & Healthcare Financial Management Services support task; a 5-year $35M task to provide VA with Data Migration and Syndication Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Support Services; a 5-year $48M task to support efforts related to Data Loss Prevention; a 3-year $95M task to provide Management Consulting Services and Healthcare Revenue Workflow Management and Business Information Technology Tools; and a very notable $434M Health Integration and Modernization (HI&M) support task.
- Liberty IT solutions, who was identified by Cerner as one of their key partners for the $10B VA EHR Modernization initiative, recently hired Microsoft veteran Scott Thompson to be its VP of Cloud Strategy and Consulting and Eddie Urso was promoted to serve as Vice President for VA Accounts. Other notable additions to the team include Federal Health Industry Leader Sam Strulson who joined the company in late 2018 to serve as a VP for Growth and Strategic Initiatives; and former Cerner Executive Joe Branson who was recruited late in 2019 to be VP of Product Strategy and Partner Relations.
- Led by President and CEO Bill Greene, Liberty IT, easily one of the most successful T4NG Primes and one of the fastest growing SDVOB health IT consultancies of this decade, was named to the updated list of the NXT UP firms poised to make big waves in the Federal sector in 2020 and for years to come.
