Kratos awarded $22M contract to support the DHA Theater Medical Information Program

Kratos Awarded $22.3 Million Contract for Department of Defense Medical Records Support – June 10, 2016, GlobeNewsWire

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc., a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that it was awarded a contract by the Joint Operational Medicine Information Systems (JOMIS) to support the Theater Medical Information Program - Joint (TMIP-J). The award includes a base contract plus five options.

TMIP-J, is a legacy medical records system for theater and shipboard medical records, which ensures that those records are loaded into the greater Defense Medical Records system. Working with its partner, Planned Systems International, Inc. (PSI), Kratos will continue integration activities to modernize, maintain and provide incremental updates to associated information technology applications.

G2X TAKE: This 5 year $22.3M task out of Joint Operational Medicine Information Systems (JOMIS) for integration activities to modernize, maintain and provide incremental updates to associated IT applications was awarded to Kratos Defense & Security Solutions and their partner, Planned Systems International, Inc. (PSI).

This comes on the heels of another recent award for Kratos at DHA for the development of an Enterprise Blood Management System (EBMS) Interface with DHMSM (now MHS Genesis).
