G2X TAKE: ICF, a global consulting and technology services provider and major partner to HHS, continues to pick up wins, this time beating out one other bidder to pick up a 5-year task leveraging the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Data Archive (SAMHDA) in support of the goal of expanding data dissemination related to behavioral health. This task was competed and awarded using the NITAAC Chief Information Officer–Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) GWAC.

- The HHS SAMHSA Substance Abuse and Mental Health Data Archive (SAMHDA) serves as a consolidated resource through which annual reports, public-use files and other publications are disseminated.
- ICF recently announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Incentive Technology Group, LLC (“iTG”), one of the leading and fastest growing providers of cloud-based platform services to the U.S. Federal Government. More here.
- A few of the key wins iTG (now ICF) added at HHS of late include a $29M HHS Financial Management System Modernization task; a Prime role on an 8-year HHS OCIO Technical Support Services BPA; a 3 1/2-year $49M NCI CBIIT Digital Support Services task; a 3-year ServiceNow Application development and Workflow Design contract at CMS; a $48M HHS OIG Mission and Business Systems Modernization award; a 4-year CMCS Medicaid and CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program) Program system (MACPro) support award; and a 3-year FDA Digital Services Center Support Services task.
- ICF recently recruited Fed Health Industry leader, Karen Holloway as Senior Vice President; added veteran Federal Health Growth leader Kim McCarley; and added Evan Lee, a former CTO with HHS OIG as a VP. In addition, the acquisition of iTG means noted Digital Transformation and recent Federal Change Agent Awardee David Yang re-joins ICF as a Vice President.
- ICF continues to be one of the biggest Federal Health players that many traditional IT and consulting players know little about as they quietly compete for (and win!) work in areas where most don’t dare venture as the work requires the need for a combination of specialized Public Health expertise, Data Science, Communications and Digital/Technology capabilities that few have. To drive the point home, here we detail more than $150M in new wins ICF added across HHS and NIH to close Q4 FY 2019.
- ICF was recently named among the list of the NXT UP firms poised to make big waves in the Federal sector in 2020 and for years to come.
