HHS HRSA releases two RFPs - Software Development and EHBs V&V Support

G2X TAKE: The HHS Health Resources & Services Administration released two long awaited requirements this week.
The first is a BPA for Electronic Handbooks (EHBs) Verification and Validation (V&V) Services. This RFQ was released on IT-70 as a small business set aside. The scope of this BPA "allows for all HRSA Bureaus and Offices with software development and support needs to order off of this vehicle."
The second requirement is a five-year BPA to provide a range of IT and Software Development Services for HRSA. This RFP was released on IT-70 as a woman-owned small business set aside.
Both responses are understood to be due Friday, July 7, 2017.'
Looking to Partner? Primary EHBs incumbent REI Systems, has expanded quickly and they have had a lot of success building high profile open source government websites, such as Data.gov, USASpending.gov, and ITDashboard. Large company partners who will have some experience with these programs and/or client include Accenture, Leidos, Sapient, as they manage an equally large sister program to this one; CSRA, TurningPoint Global Solutions and Edaptive. A couple small firms include Futrend and Digital Infuzion.
