G2X TAKE: DLH, a leading Healthcare and human services provider to the Federal Government, has been awarded a new 4 1/2-year contract to support the Department of Health and Human Services’ Administration for Children & Families Office of Head Start. The contract was awarded using the GSA Professional Services Schedule (PSS), drawing no other bids.
- DLH is a very familar face to HHS and ACF having served as the Prime contractor for the Head Start Monitoring Support Project since 1999, with responsibility for all facets of the monitoring process, including recruiting reviewers, scheduling Head Start monitoring reviews, conducting reviews, and producing monitoring review reports. - DLH has been busy making some significant and strategic investments over the last few years, to include completing the $70M acquisition of Social & Scientific Systems (“S3”), an established public health service organization providing solutions in clinical and biomedical research, epidemiology, health policy, and program evaluation; and their $39M acquisition of Federal Health technology-enabled program management, consulting, and digital communications solutions provider Danya.
