G2X TAKE: Continuing to pick up big win after big win in support of Veterans Affairs, Halfaker, a very fast growing Service Disabled Veteran and Woman-Owned business, rated as one of the top Federal Health Consulting Firms Creating a Buzz, just beat out one other bidder to be awarded a 5-year task to provide project management, requirements analysis, design, development, integration, and testing in support of the Office of Community Care (OCC) EDI TAS Program.
Competed and awarded as a task on T4NG, the Halfaker development team will be expected to deliver digital solutions in support of OCC systems business requirements, objectives, and mandates in existing and new systems to support claims and supporting functionality. The software engineering services resulting from this task will require deep knowledge of VistA Accounts Receivable and Integrated Billing (IB) modules, and expertise with multiple external applications and environments, to include the VA Enterprise Cloud and those at the VA Financial Services Center (FSC), Austin Automation Center (AAC), healthcare billing clearinghouses, and Information Assurance applications. A copy of an early draft SOW can be found here.

- This latest award to the Halfaker team builds on a string of notable and large wins, to include a $185M VA Cyber Security Operations Center Next Generation Support award; a $244M VA Veteran Signals (VSignals) task award earlier this year; and a $164M VA Financial Service Center (FSC) IT Service task back in May.
- With a senior leadership team in place who bring a proven track record of winning, and a Prime position on nearly every major Federal Health contract vehicle (CMS SPARC, CIO-SP3 SB, VETS 2, etc.), to include having just added an 8(a) position on the CIO-SP3 SB On-Ramp, Halfaker continues to be one of the most well positioned firms in the Federal Health market today.
