G2X TAKE: The celebration that surrounds the 4th of July weekend got started a little early for GovernmentCIO, a fast-rising SDVOSB consultancy who specializes in Digital, Cybersecurity, IT Transformation and Data services, as they beat out two other bidders for this task to support the DSVA team in the continued creation, development, and maintenance of Veteran-facing Services. The 33-month task was competed full and open and awarded using GSA IT-70.
- As part of this effort, GovernmentCIO will “provide VA with agile software delivery teams. The agile delivery teams will provide product and delivery management, systems architecture, software development, user research, user experience strategy, information architecture, interaction and visual design, static and dynamic content management, content writing, DevOps, data analytics to build new Veteran-facing Services and continuously improve new and existing Veteran-facing Services.” An early copy of an RFI and draft SOW can be found here.
- This award announcement comes just weeks after the company was awarded a 4-year Life Insurance Policy Administration Solution (LIPAS) task in support of Veterans Affairs, a $28.5M Veterans Affairs OCIO Executive Support Services task and is a continuation of the fast start GovernmentCIO has achieved in 2019, having already added a 5-year VA EMS Support task and a $30M VA Veterans Legacy Memorial (VLM) Project win.
- Led by CEO, Brian Moran, GovernmentCIO ranked No. 261 on Inc. 5000, the magazine’s annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America and was identified as one of the Federal Health Consulting Firms Creating a Buzz in 2018. These types of wins help ensure they will remain on that list in 2019, and near the top of a short list of Prime partners and competitors most likely to take down any T4NG (and we now add IT-70) task in support of VA.
