G2X TAKE: Building on the experience GDIT has gained over the last decade plus in support of this web-based repository of reports containing information on medical malpractice payments and certain adverse actions related to health care practitioners, providers, and suppliers, this major Federal Health IT and Consulting services provider just beat out three other bidders to secure a new 5-year BPA in support of the Health Resources and Services Administration. Competed full and open on GSA IT-70, this contract is expected to cover both Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and Development, Modernization and Enhancement (DME) services for the Bureau of Health Workforce (BHW) and the NPDB.

- GDIT is a known incumbent on this effort and, by way of their $9.7B acquisition of CSRA in 2018, has supported NPDB since at least 2011 when SRA was awarded a $78.5M contract to support the NPDB and HIPDB.
