G2X TAKE: Ashwini Zenooz, a fast-rising leader who was one of the key executives charged with overseeing EHR modernization and Change Management efforts at Veterans Affairs prior to her sudden departure, recently announced that she has taken on a new challenge as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Global Healthcare and Life Sciences at Salesforce.
Prior roles include:
- Chief Medical Officer – EHR Modernization – VA
- Deputy Under Secretary for Health Policy and Services – VA
- Senior Abdominal Radiologist/Clinical Asst. Affiliate Professor – Palo Alto VA Hospital/Stanford School of Medicine
Laura Kroupa, who brings a decade of experience as Chief Medical Informatics Officer with the VA Heartland Network and as VA Physician since 1993, was tapped as the Acting Chief Medical Officer for the Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) in late September.
