G2X TAKE: Beating out nine other bidders, WOSB Mackson Consulting was recently awarded a 5-year BPA to provide support to the Division of Application Services AdminApps team, which provides authoritative advice and guidance to FDA leadership and staff on automation of administrative programs and initiatives.
The primary focus of the AdminApps portfolio of IT Investment projects currently includes the applications and processes under the FDA Administrative Systems Automation Project (ASAP), the FDA Agency Information Management System (AIMS), the FDA Advisory Committee Tracking and Reporting System (FACTRS), and others.
This award to Mackson builds on prior experience this fast-rising small business has at FDA involving both regulatory expertise and IT modernization for multiple centers, to include CDER, CBER, ORA, CFSAN, and the Office of Information Management (OIM) on mission-critical systems such as “the development of a mobile inspection system, modernization of the Adverse Events system, strategy planning, and execution of IT architecture improvements and program management oversight.”
A BPA ceiling was not provided with the award notice, but an RFI released early this year for JAADE2 recompete pegged this award at $35M.
With a prime award on CMS SPARC and a broad set of Federal Health past performance across HHS, MHS, VA and CMS, this group is one to keep an eye on.
