G2X TAKE: Add Prime position on two huge VA contract vehicles. Check. Add executives who have been there and done that. Check. Fresh off the news that Sierra7 has gained Prime access to two IDIQ contracts, comes word of two new executive-level hires.
While we have not seen any formal announcement or bios posted to the site yet, G2X has received word that Sierra7 has added senior industry leaders John Peterson and Frank Rendon to serve as COO and CFO respectively.
John will be known to many in the VA community based on his recent experience as a Vice President with Booz Allen Hamilton. There he led a team of 750 employees, focusing on technology programs and military health business operations, while executing business development and service delivery to Department of Veterans Affairs and Military Health System (MHS)/Defense Health Agency (DHA).
Frank Rendon brings more than 30 years of leadership and management experience including executive positions in financial management, operations, logistics and supply chain management. As Sierra7’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Frank focuses on the financial aspects related to development and execution of the overall strategic direction and business growth.
We fully expect that this is just the first in a series of additional investments this group will be making as they put in place the leadership team and infrastructure to compete in what is one of the most competitive markets in the Federal sector today.
Sierra7 is one SDVOSB on the move
