G2X TAKE: eSimplicity, an 8(a) woman-owned small business focused on delivering game-changing Digital Services, Healthcare IT, and Telecommunications solutions that improve the health and lives of millions of Americans, was recently awarded this 3-year advanced analytics advisement contract in support of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. A focus for this effort is expected to include planning the most effective and efficient transition to cloud integration that will also be conducive to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). This contract was awarded as an 8(a) sole source action.
- This is the first Prime award we can find for eSimplicity in support of CMS, but their website is littered with past performance and case studies detailing support they have provided to the Agency, ranging from helping the CMS redesign and consolidate three legacy systems into a single End-Stage Renal Disease Quality Reporting (EQRS) system; and supporting multiple modules within the Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM); to helping large Prime contractors at CMS implement modern data pipelines that integrate claims, provider, beneficiary and other supplemental data from legacy mainframe and cloud-based data sources to support machine learning capabilities and detect anomalies in claims prior to payment. See the full list of case studies here.
- eSimplicity is led by Founder and Chief Executive Officer Anhthu Nguyen and Co-Founder and COO Nam Nguyen, the latter of which is an established industry exec who supported the CMS account for some of the most successful large businesses to support the Agency, prior to launching this firm in 2016.
- eSimplicity was recently named to the updated list of NXT UP firms poised to make big waves in the Federal sector in 2020 and for years to come.
