Emerging Large Health IT player, SAIC, stockpiling talent

Posted (Last updated )

G2X TAKE: To say that this firm is emerging as a Federal Health IT company sounds a bit ridiculous as they maintain one of the most recognizable brands in the market, but after selling off key parts of their Health IT business as part of the Leidos split, SAIC has clearly set their eyes on re-growing their Fed Health IT footprint. In the past 6 months, SAIC has added Industry Veteran Tom Anderson to lead the Federal Health group and he has followed that up by recruiting two fast rising execs. First, it was the addition of current HIMSS NCA VP, Diana Ceban to support growth and just this week they added Travis Szabo to serve as the VP Programs for Defense Health.

SAIC maintains the knowledge and understanding for how to win and we expect to see them as a very active participant and competitor moving forward. With the recent news that DHA and GSA will be partnering closely, SAIC and Travis are increasingly well positioned to win work as a prime at DHA.
