DHA Health IT Group (J-6) adds MHS IT veteran

G2X TAKE: Looking to leverage his prior experience as a CIO at Walter Reed and leading Cybersecurity with Navy Medicine, the Defense Health Agency J-6 has added a new Executive Officer with more than 15 years hands-on leadership and management experience in Health IT.

Commander Darion McCullough recently took on a new challenge as the Executive Officer in support of the MHS CIO (Mr. Pat Flanders). Having previously served in a series of progressively responsible roles, including as CIO for several medical facilities around the world and as the CIO for the Naval Medical Education and Training Command, McCullough will bring great perspective to this new position supporting the J-6 mission to implement, manage, and sustain an integrated and protected medical information enterprise in order to ensure the right information is accessible to the right customers at the right time and in the right way.
