G2X TAKE: Building on a string of recent wins at VA, to include a $207M Legacy Financial Management System Transformation initiative task, global consulting and advisory services firm Deloitte has added two recent Veterans Affairs leaders:
Patrick Littlefield, a recent Executive Director for the Veterans Affairs Center for Innovation (VACI), has joined Deloitte where he will serve as a Managing Director in their Federal Health group. Recognized nationally in the fields of innovation, innovation systems, and entrepreneurship, this leader, who helped VACI grow into one of the premier Federal Innovation Centers with a reach that touched all aspects of the VA enterprise, will be in position to help Deloitte drive innovation and emergent technologies at VA and in support of the broader Federal Health mission.
Not to be overlooked, Deloitte has also recruited Jacob Gadd, who most recently served as Veteran Health Administration (VHA) Veteran Service Organization (VSO) Liaison within the Office of the Under Secretary of Health. Gadd will bring great perspective to Deloitte from his time providing expert advice to Under Secretary of Health and VHA senior leadership on all matters relating to health care policy, programs and issues pertaining to Veterans Service Organizations.
- Deloitte was named one of the Federal Health consulting firms who created a BUZZ in 2018.
- Late last Fiscal Year, Deloitte was awarded a 6-year $207M contract to support ongoing financial business transformation efforts within the Department of Veterans Affairs to transform the legacy VA Financial Management System.
- Some other notable moves by Deloitte include recruiting established VA Growth leader Todd Van Haaren and former eEHR Chief Medical Information Officer (co-CMIO) for the DoD/VA Interagency Program Office, Douglas Rosendale.
