In announcing the move, the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Acquisition noted: “Please join us in welcoming Mr. John Tenaglia as the Principal Director of Defense Pricing and Contracting! … As Principal Director, Mr. Tenaglia is responsible for the pricing and contracting policy matters that relate to $300+ billion in annual contract obligations … He also serves as the principal advisor to the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment on acquisition and procurement negotiation strategies for all major weapon systems and automated information systems programs.”
