CMS SPARC Prime, Scope Infotech recruits new CIO

G2X TAKE: Looking to leverage his more than two decades of experience in progressively responsible IT leadership roles, to include recent experience as a VP of Healthcare IT Services supporting highly visible and complex programs for HHS, CMS and NIH, this fast-rising executive has been recruited to serve as CIO for this 8(a) Small Business.

Federal Health Industry veteran Ramesh Chintagumpala joins Scope InfoTech where he will be in a position to utilize his “extensive CMS domain knowledge in MBD, EDB, CME, MCS, CWF, IDR, and Claims (Part A/B/D), Medicaid and Provider data” to support continued growth and efforts at CMS, and in support of their broader focus on delivering custom software and systems engineering services, primarily in Public Health and Healthcare infrastructures.

For Ramesh, this is an opportunity to leverage the broad set of experiences this Federally-focused 8(a) and new 8(a) STARS II Prime has delivering solutions across Health and Human Services (HHS), to include specific past performance at CMS providing Enterprise Content Management support, work on USSDECT in support of CMS and its stakeholders; supporting CMS under the Electronic Medical Document Interoperability (EMDI) contract; supporting the CMS Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) Patient Level Data contract; working with CMS’ OEDA supporting the CMS Data Navigator maintenance; and in support of recent task awards for BPCI Advanced Model management and technical support services and for Quality Payment Program IT development support.

Scope Infotech has been actively adding to their business development team over the last year, with another recent addition being industry veteran, Michelle Faletti as their Vice President of Proposals & Strategy.
