CMS awards Salesforce Enterprise Integration (SEI) task

G2X TAKE: This HUBZone, 8(a) and EDWOSB was recently awarded this four-year task to support SEI, a highly visible initiative undertaken by CMS as leadership looks to sharpen its focus on improving the beneficiary experience and increasing efficiencies.

Awarded to CMS SPARC Prime, Radiant Infotech (Radiant), this effort, that is representative of CMS’ progression to Shared Services 2.0, was one of the more hotly contested tasks of late, with more than ten 8(a) firms reported to have been in the running.

This appears to be the first Prime task award for Radiant at CMS, but this firm, who focuses on providing Cloud Solutions and Digital Services in support of Federal agencies, is not a new face to CMS as they maintain several active subcontracts supporting CMMI, CCSQ, CMCS and OIT, and have supported the Agency on key legislative programs mandated by ACA and MACRA. Any firm that is picking up wins in this environment will garner an extra look as both a competitor and partner, with many working to understand the key to breaking through at CMS.
