G2X TAKE: Building on perspective gained providing the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services with support for the implementation and configuration of a wide array of security technologies and their supporting information systems, small business Iron Vine Security has been awarded a new 3-year follow-on contract. This contract was awarded using GSA IT-70.
- Iron Vine made news in 2016 when they were awarded a $67.6M CMS Information Security and Privacy Support Services Award. Clearly this latest win, and the recent award of a $31M Management Service Support contract with NIH NLM cement confirmation of this team’s capabilities.
- Earlier this year, the company recruited Federal Health growth leader Ken Buckbinder to help drive Business Development. This was on the heels of adding P. Erik Jones as Director Strategic Advisory, looking to leverage his extensive experience as a CMS security and risk subject matter expert.
- A recent edition of Healthcare Tech Outlook Magazine named Iron Vine as a top 10 Healthcare Security Solution Provider of 2021. To close out 2020, Iron Vine reported a milestone year in 2020 with a continued 100% success winning incumbent contract recompetes and its first Prime full-and-open contract win, resulting in 15% top line year-over-year growth in 2020.
- Led by President Bill Geimer and former CMS CISO Ryan Brewer, Iron Vine was named to the list of NXT UP firms poised to make big waves in the Federal sector in 2020 and for years to come.
