G2X TAKE: Beating out one other bidder, Perspecta, a CMS SPARC Prime, recently added a 5-year task to support efforts around MCS, the primary component of the Medicare claims processing function under Medicare part B.
This is another big win for the team at Perspecta, an independent public company formed by the spin-off of DXC Technology’s U.S. Public Sector business, Vencore Holding Corp., and KeyPoint Government Solutions, as it showcases the continued faith CMS leadership has in this longtime partner supporting MCS and CMS. This award builds on an $81M award this group picked up at CMS time last year for continued support of the Integrated Data Repository and a recent $149 Million Task Order to host and improve efficiency of Medicare Part A and Part B fee-for-service (FFS) Workload A claims processing.
We should note that we have seen an uptick on the recruiting front of late from this group, to include recruiting FedHealthIT100 award winner, Todd Pantezzi as VP for Federal Health Growth and former VA IT Leader Brian Morgan as a Chief Technologist. Armed with a set of Federal Health past performance that few, if any, can match, Prime access to every key contract vehicle and a new brand, this group is poised to be a player on any major deal across the Federal Health sector.
