G2X TAKE: Building on their prior experience standing up a ‘robust system’ that will provide data collection and data analytics for products falling under the Fee for Service payment mechanisms, Data Computer Corporation of America (DCCA), a CMS SPARC Prime and longtime partner to CMS, that offers a broad range of IT services intended to help Government solve problems, reduce costs and increase efficiencies, recently beat out one other bidder to pick up a new 5-year task. This task was competed on CMS SPARC as a small business set-aside.
- In 2015 DCCA picked up a win to develop a new cloud-based solution for CMS’s Fee for Service data collection system. Under the contract, DCCA was expected to engineer a data environment capable of incorporating the full spectrum of data sources into a single federated system, with automated processes that allow CMS to normalize their disparate sources of data to gain a comprehensive and actionable view of their Fee for Service payment and Clinical Lab information.
- DCCA, one of the original ESD Primes, carries a broad set of past performance supporting the Agency, to include serving as Prime on a $45 million single-award contract for the development of the Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program Financial (MACFin) system; as a Prime on the Automated Plan Payment System contract; and the CMS MACBIS Medicaid drug program (MDP) system support task.
- Led by DCCA Chief Executive Officer, David Bower, in early 2019, on the heels of several big wins, DCCA announced they were expanding their Columbia, MD location to accommodate business growth and to promote an agile work environment for DCCA employees.
