G2X TAKE: Data Computer Corporation of America (DCCA), a Veteran-owned IT and engineering services company and longtime partner to CMS, recently beat out five other bidders to be awarded a new 5-year Automated Plan Payment Systems (APPS) support contract with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The contract, valued at $13M, was competed and awarded using GSA IT-70.
- DCCA is a known incumbent on this effort, having been awarded a 5-year $13.8M Automated Plan Payment System contract in 2016 to provide business intelligence services that will drive the data analytics needs of the APPS program, to include automated data interface analysis and smart reporting capabilities.
- Beyond this program, DCCA continues to be a major and longtime partner to the Agency with a broad set of past performance that ranges from supporting efforts to develop a new cloud-based solution for CMS’s Fee for Service data collection system; and the development of the CMS Medicaid and CHIP Financial System (MACFin); to providing IT support, architecture and design for the MACBIS Medicaid Drug Program (MDP) system.
- Last Spring DCCA recruited recent CMS Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services Financial Management Group Lead Janet Freeze as Senior Principal Subject Matter Expert.
- Driven by a leadership team that includes President and COO David Bower; Sr Vice President Robert Suggs; and Vice President David Levitt, DCCA was named to the list of NXT UP firms poised to make big waves in the Federal sector in 2020 and for years to come.
