G2X TAKE: One key hire is typical, two shows commitment, but when a small (mid-tier) starts to make a number of strategic additions to their Fed Health growth team, we take note. This CIO-SP3 SB prime is clearly intent on busting through that mid-tier ceiling and never looking back.
Since this time last year, Synectics for Management Decisions, Inc. (SMDI) has added a number of key staff to support their growth efforts.
- Michael Collins was added as CTO. SMDI is certain to benefit from his more than 25 years of executive experience, many of which were in support of known high growth Federal Health IT firms.
- Veteran Capture Exec, Pam Stearman, recently joined SMDI, where she will focus on business development strategy, account planning, account management, and the pursuit of opportunities
- Josh Barr has taken on a new role as Client Solutions Director. As a CIO-SP3 prime and growing player at HHS, Josh will support SMDIs focus around research services, mission support services, data integration and BI services, and Federal IT solutions.
- And rising executive, Sarah Thayer re-joined Synectics in April. Sarah is active in the community as VP of Communication and Technology for Young AFCEA Bethesda, AFCEA Bethesdas 2016 Night for the Children Gala, and Communications Lead for ACT-IACs Acquisition COI.
These investments have paid some early dividends with key wins of late in support of the HHS Mandatory Grants Module (MGM) and as part of a recent 5 year award with the National Science Foundation (NSF) to provide statistical data collection and trend reporting.
