G2X TAKE: Having only recently been identified as one of the rising Federal Health leaders based on their astounding growth, this very fast growing CIO-SP3 SB Prime and major DHA/MHS provider with capabilities that range from Cyber Security Operations to Software and Big Data Engineering, will now join this global provider’s new Technical Solutions division.
Two years ago, Huntington Ingalls Industries, who has historically been known as the largest military shipbuilding company, completed the acquisition of Camber Corporation and formed a new operating division, HII Technical Solutions. The division was expected to provide a range of services, to include agile software development and network engineering, training systems, logistics support, engineering services and information technology support. The company also acquired nationally recognized cybersecurity solutions and services company, G2 Inc, late last year. With deep pockets and a broad set of capabilities, this group has clearly set its sights on expanding its services arm and will be an interesting partner option to consider.
